Located between Russell and Lynd, this deck girder viaduct is the fifth crossing of the Redwood River.
Built in 1902, this bridge features a typical design for this line. It is composed of three deck girder spans, set onto steel towers, concrete abutments and stone tower bases.
The abutments were rebuilt in 1950, at the same time a series of timber trestle spans were added.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
